Here are ten books that have, quite literally, stayed with me. They all came with me to this house in 1976. The one I&#8217;ve had the longest was a gift to me in 1952, when I was five. The most recent was acquired in 1971. I&#8217;ve written about <a title=\"Knowledge is Power\" href=\"http:\/\/www.silkentent.com\/Trees\/?p=249\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">at least one of them<\/span><\/a> before.
